Public sports stadium which is the state investment or raising socialfunds to build, belonging to state-owned assets, is mainly used fordeveloping social sports activities, meeting the public sportsentertainment or sports games,etc, but also for providing a venue forathlete training. And it is the important material guarantee to carry outthe national fitness.From the public sports stadium assets nature and attribute, it hasthe obvious non-profit and profit-making double attribute. Providingsports public service is one of its important function, and it is alsothe government’s important path to provide sports public service, is theimportant means to promote the "Shanghai national fitness plan" to achievethe objective, is the important conditions to improve the health levelof Shanghai citizens.This paper is on the basis of the investigation of Shanghai publicsports stadium providing sports public service, analyzing the sportspublic service supply situation.
