The value orientation of former researches on mathematics teaching meets with scientific value, and pursues reason in techniques to explain math teaching. The teaching itself is a kind of culture however, we will miss it’s true features if teaching is just explained from the point of natural science and the teaching practice. That’s why the author focuses on the culture to carries out this research.By analyzing the present situation, researches at home and abroad of math teaching and effective ways of math teaching, this research is based on the Constructivism, Learning Motivation theory, the Theory of the Human’s Overall Development, Theory of Human-oriented and Theory of Education Returning to Life, and gives the definition to math teaching.The culture of math teaching is putting the culture into particular situation of math classroom. It is the integration of outlook of value and behavior norms.It includes dominant knowledge,namely, the conceptualized knowledge and basic views in math. It also includes conceptual things such as various emotions and attitudes, especially the cultivation of rational thinking in math.The thesis adopts the method of literature review as well as the survey and research etc.The author focuses on the teacher’s view of teaching, their behavior and evaluation of teaching to carry out this research. Finally, main problems are found in present teaching:arbitrary teaching, standardization of teaching content, quiescent feature of teachers. The thesis also finds out the advice of constructing teaching culture in math class by adopting the method of case study.
