There is very important mathematical thinking during the learning of linear programming in the PEP high school mathematics compulsory5th textbooks. And these thinking count a great deal in the whole high school mathematics learning. However, there are still some deficiency in the teaching and learning of high school linear programming currently, such as:student’s misunderstanding in learning, teacher’s misdirection in teaching, got a bad effect in teaching and learning... This thesis has made the preliminary study on the content of the linear programming part in senior high school textbooks, which is based on the combination of theory and practice. The thesis contains the following components:The first section is to introduce a question. What status is linear programming in the whole high school mathematics learning? Then, the author analyzes the students’ mastery of this part of the learning. And focus on the importance of teaching and learning this part.The second section is to define the core concepts of this thesis such as’linear programming’,’easy made mistake’and’the combination of number and figure’.The third section will review and summarize the previous study on linear programming, and list research results both at home and abroad.The forth section will discuss the correlation of pedagogy, psychology, philosophy and the thesis. And, how these theories support the thesis?The fifth section is the keynote of the thesis. The author combines the teaching theory of education psychology and her years of teaching experience, makes a strategy that how to change the teaching in class and the psychological state of students. Eventually makes students can learn the linear programming part more easily.The sixth section contains some teaching cases in which using the strategy mentioned in the fourth section. And, it is also a test on the strategy.The seventh section is to review and rethink of the theory of this thesis. Sum up the points the deficiency of the thesis.The conclusion:The reason why students cannot learn the linear programming easily is neither the students born with low IQ, nor the teacher pay less attention in the class. It’s mainly because we haven’t found a better way to teach and learn. So, if we took the right strategy, adjusted the teaching method to the particular student, we will see good changes in the teaching and learning.
