In order to explore worked examples transfer effects of Learning English grammar forJunior high school students, we used the passive voice as worked examples learning materials,and two kinds of verbs, the single-object verb and double-object verb, then the studentslearned the rule of conversion between the active voice and the passive voice. We designedfor three worked examples Example: mark worked examples, right and wrong workedexamples; dialogue worked examples. We had two experiments and used junior high schoolstudents as experimental subjects.Experiment1explored the migration effect of the active voice convert passive voice inthree worked examples. The result showed that: the junior students can learn the rules ofEnglish grammar by mark worked examples, and right and wrong worked examples anddialogue worked examples worked examples. They could master and apply grammar rules ofsingle-object and double-object verb differently. For the simple (single-object verb) rule ofEnglish grammar, mark worked examples is better. Learning relatively complex(double-object verb) rule of English grammar the right and wrong worked examples is better.For mark worked examples and right and wrong worked examples, the marks of thesingle-object verb are higher than double-object verb.Experiment2explores two kinds of subjects (learning active voice convert passive voicein experiment1and no learning junior students) who had learnt the active voice convertpassive voice, compared the migration effect. The results showed that: the students who hadlearnt the active voice convert passive voice is better than the students who didn’t. For thesingle-object verb, the mark worked examples were better than the other two. Dialogueworked examples were the worst. For double-object verb, the right and wrong workedexamples were better than the other two. Dialogue worked examples were the worst. For markworked examples, the marks of the single-object verb are higher than double-object verb.
