Since ancient times, family plays an important role in solve the pension problem. As the traditional division of curing mode in our country. Women have made a great contribution to the family pension. Study the women’s role in the change of the rural family endowment changes the role of his time to has important theoretical significance for achieving the basic objectives of social security and practical significance in maintaining social stability and harmony.Under the perspective of gender theory. Participant observation method and interview method are adopted in this study. Take a country in eastern Inner Mongolia as survey site research the changes of the family pension mode during different periods:from the time of land privatization to the time of collectivization, and then to the period of market economy. Based on these descriptions, the innovation is that it puts the individual’s development in different social era to expand its research, it regards the women in the intergenerational support as the caregiver, and the paper’s research object, it also interprets in which way the politic, economy and culture affect the labor division in a family for its daughter-in-law. Finally the study finds three tendencies:daughter-in-law is the person who takes the responsibility of taking care of the seniors in family, and the tradition continues in modern times among most rural area of our country; women’s care consciousness shift from obligation to independent awareness; the present senior pension model shows the reality of daughter-in-law’s walkout and daughter’s participation.For the future.We need to breakthrough family unit; to breakthrough the traditional model of women take care role; to eliminate the contradiction between the sexual division of labor norms and individual behavior; requires the participation of multi-agent, explore more social pension resources.
