Practical Exploration Of Social Work Intervening In Family Support Dispute

China is a country with the most old people in the world.With the accelerated aging speed,the demand for pension services will furtherly expanded in the future.The old people are also faced health,economy,family relationships and other problems which will become a focus topic.The old age is the stage that every individual will experience,and the elderly group is also an indispensable group of human society.It is necessary to pay attention to the elderly's pension problems.Although the mode of support for the elderly in China is constantly enriched,but for the elderly living in rural areas,family support is the main pattern.However,there are some elderly people who rely on family support don't enjoy the care of their children,and the occurrence of support disputes are very frequently,so the old man live alone and miserable with the low sense of happiness dignity.The culture of filial piety in society is more and more thin which destroy the harmonious and stable life of the countryside.Family is the cell of the society so the effective resolution of family disputes,especially the support of disputes,not only ensures the elderly's later life,but also important for the stability and harmony of the whole family.This paper takes H Village family support disputes in L City of Henan Province as an example,through methods such as literature review,questionnaire survey,interview and so on to collect data,analysis of the current situation of the rural elderly endowment,the performance characteristics of the support disputes and traditional way of mediation.It is found that the elderly in rural areas mainly rely on family pension and the maintenance of disputes concentrated in the multi-child family and the mode of conciliation is mostly negotiation.The paper analyzes the feasibility of social work intervention in rural support disputes,and takes the case of rural multi-child family support disputes as a case,using the social work of the case work method to carry out practical exploration.In this process,based on cultural sensitivity,using rational emotive therapy and structured family therapy model to carry out services,combined the professional model of social work with local culture.Through the third party intervention,we hope that we can use the professional methods of social work to mediate support disputes effectively and make the rural elderly to a sense of security.At the same time,it is hoped that to eliminate disputes within the family,to create a harmonious family atmosphere,building a harmonious society.
