Study on the leadership behavior of middle school principals, is a common concern both in Education theory research and Practice area.A principal is the mainstay of a school, their leadership behavior determined a school’s management level and the developing of the school.Based on a case study of a principal of a middle school, this article revealed some perplex on leading behavior of the principal, then analysis the question, and finally come up with some deals.The article was departed in5chapter, chapter1described the background, the meaning on research of principal’s leading behavior, and summarized current status and primary coverage of principal’s leading behavior by Citing literature. Chapter2described some core concepts of the article, presenting some theories which the article was based on. Chapter3take a note on a principal’s real working state day by day, then reappear a principal’s daily working scene, analysed and summarized the features of the principal’s daily work. Chapter4analysed the questions and the reasons of the principal’s leading behavior, given some targeted solutions on these questions. Chapter5focused on principals’self-development. A principal should often refresh himself, raised his ability on leadership via self-sudy and traing. In order to upraise a whole management ability of a school, the principal should consciously retire in backstage, given a free hand to his subordinates to develop their ability. Push the management work into a management culture, and finally realized "traceless management". The upraising on leading behavior validity of principals cannot break away from collective leadership, thus structuring a democratic management is a key affairs on school management, the corresponding measures is on the following: Changing of leadership and management concepts, improving the methods of management, integrating management of resources. Improve the administrative organization’s leadership:perfecting the management structure, improve the management relation. Fully mobilized every functional department of the school: insisting on "People-being-the-first-cause", upraising the scientifically level of the strategy, Rational allocating on staff, improving the quality of staff, enhancing incentive mechanism. A principal should prove a working atmosphere for the educators, promoting the development on their profession. A principal should prove a studying atmosphere for the students, lay a good foundation for their life long. Improving the validity of a principals’ on the leading behavior, is not only the needs of a principal’s self-development, but also the needs of a whole school’s development. It’s the efficiency and the guarantee of a school’s development.
