Critical incidents are ubiquitous in our society nowadays. As key sub-systems of the society, the primary and the secondary schools hold privileged positions, where critical incidents will lead to serious consequences. While in the recent six years, a series of typical injury incidents in school shocked the whole nation. The crisis management is a new difficult problem for us to deal with. This paper mainly discusses the type of the crisis, the state and the diversity of teachers’crisis coping in the primary and the junior school, then puts forward some suggestions.In this paper, the author first gives a comprehensive overview of the subjects involved by literature review, then the author carries out her research with485teachers in ten schools in Zhongshan as her studying subjects. By the data analyses about the survey and questionnaire, the author draws out her conclusions which are as follows. First, there are seven types of the school crisis, of which the student accident, the growth of the student and the conflict between the teacher and the student are the most serious. Second, the teacher in the primary and the secondary school get the highest point in the stage of "preparedness", while getting the lowest point in the stage of "readiness"According to the result of the analyses, the author puts forward her suggestion. We should enhance the consciousness in crisis coping, pertinently improve the teachers ability of crisis management, provide more chance for the teacher to cope with the crisis and increase their experience.
