As the new curriculum reform develops, people have been paying more attention to the reform. However, teachers’role in the reform can’t be ignored. What attitude teachers take to accept and take part in the reform make a difference for the success of the reform. Based on the new curriculum reform in Yunnan Province and regarding high school teachers of Kunming as the target, this thesis is to get to know the attitude, behavior intentions and the factors that affect the receptivity so as to figure out the present situation of the teachers’receptivity to the reform and the factors that affect it. Meanwhile, the thesis is to put forward some suggestions and measures to improve the teachers’receptivity and promote the development of the new curriculum reform.Combining quantitative study and qualitative research together, the thesis is to know the information about the teachers’attitudes and behavior intentions towards the reform as well as the factors that affect the receptivity by sending questionnaires to the teachers of several high schools. Then the present situation of the teachers’receptivity is further recognized by interviewing some of the teachers. The interview aims at knowing teachers’suggestions and expectations for the reform. The main research findings are as follows:first, teachers have a positive receptivity for the new curriculum reform; second, behaviors in teaching do not change much when carrying out the reform; third, there are some conflicts between the present educational system and the reform; fourth, Teachers cannot get enough support from the society outside schools; last but not the least, the teaching age, professional titles and educational backgrounds have an effect on elements of the receptivity such as the attitudes and behavior intentions towards the reform, the practicality of the reform and the concerns for the reform.Based on these conclusions and combining the interviews to the teachers, the thesis gives some suggestions to promote the development of the new curriculum reform. The suggestions are as follows:firstly, give more supports to the teachers to carry out the reform; secondly, improve the system of the new curriculum to increase the teachers’receptivity; thirdly, improve the quality of teacher training effectively to help the teachers to change their behaviors in teaching.
