Sociology Analysis On TV Talent Show Becoming A New Way Of Upward Mobility

TV Talent Show has been developed for30years in our country, during this time, it has got the change from professional to universal participation. There are two purposes of this shift, on the one hand, news media can attract more audience’s attention to improve its ratings, on the other hand, it reflects the changes between the traditional upward ways and the new ways in social transformation period. Especially in recent years, Talent Show has trained group after group of "grassroots star", such as Abo, Phoenix Legend and Sun rising Young Gun. People have been accepted that the "talent show" is one of the means to realize the upward mobility.Based on the understanding of this social phenomenon, in this paper, we analysis the deep meaning of Chinese talent show becoming the new upward ways by using Subculture theory,"Matthew effect" theory of social capital and Anomie theory. The method of literature research and case analysis method were adopted to study this paper, and I look forward to breakthrough the research methods and perspectives on the draft class TV show for innovation by collecting and processing related data.The content of the article is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is introduction part, Ⅰ summary the research background and significance, research methods and theoretical perspectives in this part, and there are also some important concepts involved in the article being defined, such as "draft","draft class television program" and "the new way of upward mobility".The second chapter is overview of the Chinese draft class development show. Ⅰ summary the present situation of the Talent Show in three parts, they are respectively the draft class television’s birth background, characteristics of the development and social impact. The third chapter is the sociological analysis of the Chinese draft class program becoming the new way to flow. Combined with the second chapter of logical thinking, it is divided into three aspects; they are the main characteristics of the subculture, the influence of the social capital’s Matthew effect on the result of the match and the impact of the anomie to the traditional upward ways. The fourth chapter is sociological enlightenment, correspond with two chapters on logic, it further analyzes three conclusions, they are respectively the diversity of subculture, class curing produced in Matthew effect and the special relationship between old and new ways of upward mobility.By collecting and sorting of various literature materials, I found that the vast majority of scholars tend to research the TV talent show from the perspective of journalism and communication both at home and abroad, and the research focuses are on the rise and fall of draft class television, reasons of history formation and development trend. Also some people use the economics and psychology to analysis draft class television program forms the economic effects and social effects. But people never put it as a way to upward flow on the sociological aspect to study, this is also the innovation of this article, In addition, more important value of this article lies in using sociological theory to summary the present traditionally flow system which has existing problems, causes and coping strategies. Although education and employment is two ways that can help the underlying social group to upward flow, those ways can’t open because of the existence of human society, monopoly of power and wealth hereditary. In the bottom of the group under the condition of expanding, the opportunity to upward is reducing steadily. All levels of the society are in a closed loop as a whole. Increasingly serious class curing led to a series of social problems, which include the identity anxiety of the middle and lower social strata, frequent contradictions about "Hatred" and "Enemy officer" events, the expansion of the gap between rich and poor and people distrust of the government management ability and so on.Derived in this kind of social environment, the new approach both making up for the inadequacy of the traditional way to flow also impact the innovation of traditional flow path. Between new and traditional flow mechanism are not contradictory, relevant government departments should actively face the problems arising from the traditional flow path, and encourage the development of new type to flow on the way. Only in this way, the flow mechanism of the whole society will be more perfect, and social class structure will be to take on the shape of olives. What’s more, every aspiring members of society will be to jointly boost the realization of the dream of China.
