As the ability of rational thinking and logical reasoning, emotion is a basic experience ofhuman.It plays an important role in people’s daily life,work,communication, transaction anddecision making. Emotional ability is an important symbol of human intelligence,it is thenecessary premise of human rational behavior, and it plays an important role in thedecision-making process. Healthy and good emotion is a necessary condition of comprehensivedevelopment, and strengthen the emotional education is also the inevitable requirement ofbuilding a harmonious society. Positive emotional experience allows students in cheerful, upbeatmood, it can also creat good emotional background for cognitive activities and emotion, so thestudents not only can obtain cognitive information, but also can get all sorts of positive emotionsand cultivate noble.People are used to express the emotional state through face-to-face communication, whenthey communicate through media tools, they often ignore the emotional content, this teachingseriously limits the development of the student’s emotional ability.But the strong interactivity andexperiential of digital games solved this difficult problem. Therefore, research on the emotionalrepresentation and interaction of digital games has immeasurable application value and practicalsignificance.This study adopted literature analysis, case analysis and system development method,combined with the advantages of digital games and emotional representation strategies, used theexisting game development tools, designed and developmented a digital game,which canpromote the learners’ emotional interactive experience. Study work mainly revolved around thefollowing aspects:1. The basic theory research. On the basis of relevant information both at home and abroad,this study elaborated the emotion, emotional representation and the theory of emotional design,explored an effective strategy suitable for this study.2. Construction of emotional resprentation hierarchical model in digital game. On the basis of the theory of teaching design, from the angle of teaching theory, this study selected theappropriate thought and method for digital game learning situation and the teaching design; Andbased on this, emotional representation strategy and pattern were applied to the game in theprocess of building the overall learning situation, finally this study designed a digital gametheory model of emotional representation.3. The realization of the digital game example.Based on emotional representation modelframework in digital games, in combination with the selected teaching content, this studycaptured and analysis the system requirements, finally designed each module of the game, anduse the Adobe Flash, Dreamweaver and other game development tools to development the digitalinstance.As the foregoing research worked step by step, this study made the following significantresults.1. Expounded the related concept definition in detail, and the theory of emotional designand other related theoretical basis. This provided a theoretical support for emotionalrepresentation in digital games.2. By analyzing the cases of typical emotion model and digital games, and discussed theemotional factors in digital game from the perspective of the game itself and learners,finally theemotional representation strategy in digital games was put forward.3.Under the support of relevant theories, this study put forward the hierarchical model ofthe emotional representation in digital game,divided the emotion characteristic of digital gamesinto instinct layer emotional design, behavior layer emotional design and reflection layeremotional design, and designed the different levels of this system in detail, for development ofinstance digital game laid a solid foundation.4. Under the guidance of teaching design and the emotional level model, used Flash andDreamweaver as development platform, combined with the related teaching contents, this studydeveloped a digital game called "small young pioneers" as the case of this study support.Due to the time of researchers and technical development ability is limited,the emotionaldigital game although can reflect the original purpose and thoughts of the study, but there are stillmany problems and shortcomings, the future research work will be around the way ofcombination between digital games and emotional representation strategies.
