| Along with the rapid development of our social economy,the separation of child and their parents has become a trouble that many urban family have to face with,which has caused a dramatic growth of urban left-behind children.3-6 years old is the key period for children’s physical and mental development.As long as there is a long-term absence of one of the parents,the child’s growth will be brought extremely adverse effects.So it’s especially significant to to make urban left-behind children feel the parents around during the period of separation,by means of riching the way of interaction,promoting the frequency of interaction and enhancing the quality of interaction.Taking into account the current development of mobile technology,the popularity of mobile devices and people of all ages’ s deep love of digital games,there could be more possibilities for parent-child interaction in the separation period.This aritcle studies correlation theories of parent-child game and digital game,analysize their design elements,influencing factors and the ways and charateristics they trigger the emotion,and discusses the feasibility of digitizing parent-child games as a tool to promote parent-child interaction during the separation.Under the guidance of relevant theories of emotion and demand,9 classes of 3 kindergartens in Nantong and a sample of 15 families from them has been studied,through questionnaire surveys,user interviews,behavioral observation and other methods.On the basic of the above research background,the characteristics of children aged 3-6 years old,the behavioral feature of them playing digital games,and the ways,procedures and behavious of parent-child interaction during the separation have been summarized.The emotional characteristics and the emotional needs of the urban left-behind children have been summed up.Also,four stages of emotional interaction has been summarized.On the basis of the above study,the idea of parent-child digital game has been put forward as a tool to satisfy emotional needs of urban left-behind children during the separation.The emotional experience in parent-child digital games has been divided into four levels,which are sensory level,operational level,communication level and mnemonic level.Also,parent-child digital game’s design principles have been proposed,which are child-centered,consistent,continuous,complementary and counterpoise.Finally,from the four levels of parent-child digital games’ s emotional experience,several design strategies have been suggested and applied in the design practice to provide some direction for the design of parent-child digital games. |
