With the development and advancement of society, the nation`srequire for talents is not just the familiarity of specialized skills,increasingly need the all-rounded persons who have good physicalqualities, psychological qualities and social adaptation abilities.Meanwhile, they also have team cooperation spirits, goodcommunication skills and the abilities to innovate. To cultureall-round talents, our universities are promoting quality education tohighlight the “health first” guiding ideology. Many universities carryout the curriculum reform, and as a part of reform, outward training isintroduced to the college physical education class. It makes up thestudents`lack of adaptive abilities, the spirit of solidarity, mutualtrust and etc in traditional physical education, it also plays a role instudents employments. Meanwhile, it fits diverse teaching. Outwardtraining means to make students enjoyed in sports, exerts theirsubjective initiative, improves communication skills and adapts tosociety.The object of the thesis is Shanxi Colleges`teaching status ofoutward training, investigates the teachers and students in tencolleges. The methodologies of the thesis are documentary, experts interview, mathematical statistics, questionnaire survey and fieldobservation. The thesis discusses the current situation, teachingconditions, facilities, contents and reasons of outward training, aswell as the resources. The findings are as follows:(1)with the college students in Shanxi province have a certaindegree of understanding and the understanding to the development oftraining, the students began to develop the training interest, peoplemore and more participation, participation in training in various forms,including, most of the students are to attend school elective courses,some universities also set up a community to meet the needs ofstudents to participate in the.(2)at present, in the province of Shanxi college students expand thetraining programme in basically is the orienteering, field survival androck climbing. Can be seen that student to participate in the project issingle, lack of innovation.(3) in recent years, expanding training teacher guidance andorganization, Shanxi province to carry out the teaching aspects,basically is the physical education teachers as the development ofteacher training, the young, to develop the training to understand thedegree is not enough, and without special training courses, traininglevel is not high, there is no uniform teaching materials in Collegesand universities of Shanxi Province, this will influence the healthy,sustainable development in Shanxi province.(4) University in Shanxi Province, to expand the training evaluationmethods basically to teacher evaluation, students rarely makeself-assessment and peer assessment, assessment systemcombining regular assessment and outdoor test, evaluation and assessment system is not perfect.(5)aimed at colleges and universities in Shanxi province to expandthe training present situation, proposed the correspondingcountermeasures: strengthen the theory study, deepen theunderstanding of development training; form diversification, theproject practice, the full development of resources of the school;combined with the actual situation of the school, develop theappropriate development training program, organize teachingscientifically; to promote community development, support formultiple participation mode; strengthen the propaganda, schoolorganization and management, caused the leadership attention andperfect facilities, increase investment; increase the construction ofteachers; training of risk awareness, strengthen safety education,improve the security system and protection policies; and activelycarry out relevant events, setting up incentive mechanism, create agood atmosphere.
