In the current society, people have more and more profoundly realized that preschool education is of great significance to the development of people in its whole life. But, it is the weak link of foundational education in China. it is also mentioned that the country must strengthen the construction of teaching body in the National outline about educational reform and development in medium and long-term and The State Council opinions about the current development of preschool education. But at present our gender structure of teacher team is unbalanced, male teachers are extremely scarce. Teachers’ professional happiness is one of the important indicators to measure the quality of their working life, paying close attention to male preschool teachers’ professional happiness, not only does it contribute to improving the quality of their working life, but also it optimize the structure of teacher team and promote the development of early childhood education, with an important theory significance and practice value. The purpose of this study based on narrative research methods, through interviews, observation, documentation and other methods, is to know the professional happiness of a male teacher named Y in a kindergarten, to further explore the psychological status, professional development, self-awareness, social behavior, interpersonal relationships of Y and the sex factor of teacher Y’s professional happiness,with which can we analysis the measures to improve male preschool teachers’ professional happiness.The main content of this paper is mainly divided into four chapters:Chapter I Introduction section, introduces the problem of the origin and the significance of this thesis, happiness at home and abroad, and teachers’ sense of happiness, the shortcomings of the current research, and the teachers’ occupational well-being of the concept of clearly defined.The second part is the research design, mainly introduces the research process, explains what is narrative research and why this approach was chosen in this paper. In addition, introduces the research object Y.The third part is the narrate of Y’s professional happiness. describes the growing experience, survival status and professional happiness of Y. Then divided the professional happiness of Y into two parts like happiness and worry in his professional lifeThe fourth part analyses the basical aspects in male preschool teachers’ professional happiness, the sex factor of teacher Y’s professional happiness, as well as the corresponding improvement countermeasures.
