Education is the cornerstone of national development.Preschool Education,as the starting point of national education system,plays a vital role in individual lifelong learning.In the development of Preschool Education,the quality of preschool education is influenced by the quality of kindergarten teachers.Kindergarten teachers work for children aged 3-6,whose physical and mental development characteristics determine the complexity and internal potential of kindergarten teachers ’education and teaching.For a long time,the public’s understanding of the image of kindergarten teachers mostly comes down to the dominance of the female group,and the public’s attitude toward male teachers in this group is curious and fresh.Male kindergarten teachers can play the role of "father" in children’s life and growth,enrich the curriculum of early childhood education to a certain extent,and widen the channel of educating people.Opinions from all walks of life about male kindergarten teachers vary,and some parents think that male kindergarten teachers should be supplemented,some parents think that there are more or less shortcomings when men take on the job of kindergarten teacher.So,if the kindergarten from the perspective of male teachers in their work in kindergarten,we can see the embodiment of this controversy? What is the living state,professional identity and professional development of male kindergarten teachers in kindergarten.In our educational practice,there are male kindergarten teachers,but there are problems such as difficulty in training,lack of employment,and fast turnover.Most of the male teachers who remain in kindergarten work are mostly novice teachers,or in the adaptation period after the loss,few of the male backbone teachers in the long-term post insist on kindergarten.How to train male kindergarten teachers who are really useful,can be kept,and have outstanding professional skills for kindergarten is a problem worth studying.In order to explore these issues,this study adopts the case study idea,taking four male key teachers from different kindergartens in k city as the case,through in-depthinterviews,collates and analyzes their professional development process from pre-service to post-service.This paper makes a tracing analysis and discussion on the professional ideas,professional knowledge and professional ability of the four teachers,and in the analysis and discussion,the professional development course of the four teachers is divided into four stages by using the theory of the professional development stage of the teachers for reference,the characteristics and needs of four male kindergarten teachers ’professional development were discussed in four stages:preparation period,growth reserve period,mature development period and career all-round period.The study found:(1)in the preparatory period,the study period: their professional knowledge is partial to oneself is good at the subject,the professional ability is obviously weaker than other female kindergarten teacher.(2)in the period of growth and reserve: their professional ability can be perfected in practice,the identity of male and kindergarten teachers ’profession begins to be clear,and the teaching methods are groped gradually in their professional knowledge.(3)in the mature and development period: At this stage their competence can be reflected,get all aspects of recognition,enhance self-efficacy,the position can also be promoted.(4)in the professional all-round period: Four male kindergarten teachers except teacher g are entering the professional all-round period,the other three teachers in this stage role cognition is completely clear,professional ability and professional knowledge development is relatively stable.Based on this,this study puts forward the following recommendations,first at the personal level: support male kindergarten teachers in-service to strengthen theoretical learning and practice,enhance professional development awareness;Social and family level: kindergarten to form a security system,social support and care for male teachers to take family cooperation,to provide the necessary spiritual support;government level: Increase Salary and welfare benefits,the government to give policy assistance.
