With the modification, promulgation and implementation of "The compulsory educationmathematics curriculum standards (2011Edition)", the new round curriculum reform started infull swing. The variations of the course objectives, teaching material, study methods andevaluation system in mathematics new curriculum standards, puts forward new requirements forteachers’ teaching and the professional level of teachers. And teachers have high demand ofprofessional development. The state attaches great importance to professional development ofteachers. So how to carry out the effective school-based researches, in order to promote theaccomplishment of teachers and mathematics teachers’ construction, has become an urgentproblem to be solved. In fact, through the literature analysis the author found, the study oneffective strategies to school-based research are still relatively less.Therefore, in order to solve this problem, the author analyses the development, the intensionand the research achievements of effective strategies to school-based research, summarizes theissues which investigate the school-based research in Liaoning Province. At the sametime, from “the fifth discipline”, put forward the effective strategies of mathematics school-basedresearch in junior middle school from two aspects:Research content1: The organization strategies of school-based research, including theoverall planning of activities, the management strategy of training process, the feedback andfollow-up strategies of activities and the strategy of ensuring the implementation of acticities.Research content2: The teacher reflection strategies of school-based research, includingthe reflection strategies to the teaching design and the strategies of teachers’ thinking habits ofprofessional development.
