Research On Orphan "Prosocial Behavior" By Methods Of Social Work

Children are the reserve force of the future society, training on children’s moraland behavior, has a great influence on the overall level of morality of the society inthe future. Orphans, however, grew up in environment of a dysfunctional family, theircultivation of morality and behavior, should be more attention. A survey shows thatmost orphans are affected by anxiety, depression, self-esteem and other psychologicalproblems, the orphans grew up in a bad environment proved have higher crime ratethan average. This is not only a problem of personal, but a social problem. Researchon how to cultivate the orphans form a social beneficial thought and behavior, havehuge positive for the development of the whole society.This study use professional social work methods to research the cultivation of theorphan prosocial behavior."prosocial behavior" is a kind of social beneficial behavior,it is an important part of socialization. This article Carries on the analysis to theorphan psychological characteristics and growth environment uses many theories,such as The theory of socialization, Erickson’s theory of personality development,Piaget’s theory of cognitive development, Kolberg’s theory of moral development.Looking at from four professional social work perspectives, the perspective ofadvantages, the ecological perspective, the perspective of social support, and thegroup dynamic perspective. The actual operation use observation method, interviewmethod, Questionnaire method, and comparison experiment method. Guidance onseveral selected subjects by social work, to cultivate their prosocial behavior.After the end of social work group activities, use the methods of questionnaireand interview, from quantitative and qualitative analysis, to testing three aspects, include of the behavior changes of the members of group A themselves, the differencethat behavior changes of the member of group A and group B, and the effect of groupactivity. The results showed that the social work intervention activities have a positiveeffect on the prosocial behavior cultivation of the members of group A, the teameffectiveness has been developed.Through the process of social work intervention,with the help of group dynamics,create a comfortable social environment for the group members, improve theircognitive structure, change their behaviors, the interactive development of these threeaspects, promote the cultivation of the prosocial behavior of the members. Therefore,the article recommends the cultivation of the orphan prosocial behavior should befocus on three aspects the environment, the cognition, and the behavior.
