With the development of society, the growth of teenagers is generally becoming the social focus, and the issue of teenagers’ prosocial behaviors has got the relevant research and discussion in the academic circle. However, currently, most of researches begin from psychology, pedagogy, and sociology to propose relevant concepts, theories, research methods, and strategies. Less scholars will begin from the perspective of social work and adopt the professional method of social work to combine the favorable resources and deepen into the teenagers’ prosocial behavior problem.Prosocial behavior is a kind of beneficial behavior including altruism behavior which helps others or wants to help others. It is a behavior of cooperation, assistance, and sharing removing people’s motive who provide help, which is beneficial to others in the society. For teenagers, improving the prosocial behavior can promote their behaviors to comply with the requirement of social development, integrate into the society actively and improve personal and family relations for the smooth socialization and help teenagers to grow on both physical health and mental health. Due to the social environmental pressure, teenagers from families with low income tend to adopt escaping, self-suspect, and excluding the outside world to face problems in personal communication. Existing theory and practice proved, social work is an effective way to intervene in the shortening problem of teenagers’ prosocial behavior.The analysis of this research is based on the f。;irst session of public welfare purchasing project of government---Warm and Sweet Plan in Suzhou, and takes the teenagers from low-income families as the research project. It adopts the method of individual case work and group work, research methods of literature research method, spot observation method, and case analysis method to explore the shortening problem of prosocial behaviors of teenagers from low-income families and provide the new thinking for improving this problem and doing the relevant intervention.
