The Influence Of Adult Attachment And Empathy Of Social Workers On Prosocial Behavior

Prosocial behavior is an act that benefits others and society.It is of great significance to maintaining personal and physical health,maintaining good interpersonal relationships,and promoting social harmony.The development of social work plays an important role in building a harmonious society,the development of social work can't be separated from the promotion of excellent social workers.Thus,an excellent social worker should have a high level of prosocial behavior.Investigating the influencing factors of social workers' prosocial behavior can not only provide reference for screening and cultivating excellent social workers,but also provide a scientific basis for the cultivation of social workers' prosocial behavior.This study mainly discusses the status quo of adult attachment,empathy and prosocial behavior of social workers from the perspective of attachment,and further explores the influence of adult attachment style on social workers' prosocial behavior and the mediating effect of empathy between the two.This study used a questionnaire survey method,the survey target is 300 social workers,the measurement tools are "ECR intimate relationship experience scale","PTM scale","interpersonal response indicators questionnaire" Chinese version.The main results of this study are as follows:(1)The social worker's attachment avoidance dimension has a significant negative predictive effect on prosocial behavior,and the attachment anxiety dimension has no significant effect on prosocial behavior prediction.(2)The attachment of social workers has a significant negative predictive effect on empathy,and attachment anxiety has a significant positive predictive effect on empathy.(3)The social workers' empathy attention dimension,perspective selection dimension and empathy total score have significant positive predictive effects on the six dimensions of prosocial behavior and the pro-social behavior total score;empathic personal sadness Dimensions have a significant positive predictive effect on the four dimensions of openness,emotional orientation,emergency orientation,and compliance tendency of prosocial behavior.(4)The empathy of social workers plays a full intermediary role between attachment avoidance and prosocial behavior;empathy has a significant cover effect between attachment anxiety and prosocial behavior.
