The new curriculum reform brings a grand scale of educational innovation in China’s education field. With the deepening of the new curriculum reform carried out, the "dialogue" gradually went into people’s vision and accepted by people.The marriage of dialogue and education also reveals the spirit of the times. Junior high school English teaching’s objectives are based on harmonious teacher-student relationship, both teachers and students get together to complete learning knowledge of the language, and to promote students’English communication skills. However, the implementation of junior high school English dialogue teaching is an effective way to achieve this goal. But due to the current theoretical study of English dialogue teaching in specific subjects practice particular in English is still relatively small, and still in infancy. So there are some problems in the dialogue teaching practice in the teaching of English. This study used the questionnaires, interviews and classroom observation methods to investigate and analysis the application of English dialogue teaching in junior high school, and finds the problems and cause analysis, and gives some appropriate optimization suggestions. This thesis mainly has four parts:Part Ⅰ:Introduction. This paper clarifies the origin of the research, and the research status of dialogue teaching at home and abroad as well as the research’s significance of the dialogue teaching and research methods.Part Ⅱ:Overview of junior high school English dialogue teaching theories. Through reading a lot of books and literature, this chapter will define the core concepts in the study, analysis the theoretical basis of English dialogue teaching, and clarifies the academic characteristics and type of English dialogue teaching in detail, so that we can have a profound understanding of the English dialogue teaching in junior high school on the theoretical level.Part Ⅲ:Survey and analysis the implementation of junior high school English dialogue teaching. Through the collection and analysis of the survey describes the status of implementation of English dialogue teaching in junior high school, and find problems in the implementation process, such as teachers’professionalism problem, the student body consciousness and dialogue awareness are weak and the evaluation system problems, and analysis the reason of issues arising.Part Ⅳ:The optimization strategy of English dialogue teaching in junior high school. Through understanding of the problem and objective analysis of the reasons, this chapter will propose the corresponding optimization strategies. It includes enhancing teacher’s professionalism strategies, the implementation strategy of English dialogue teaching and evaluation system’s optimization strategies.
