Nowadays, creative and talented persons are urgently needed in our country. However, question awareness and active attitude are lacking in most students' English learning. The present researcher intends to adjust such a state and make a contribution to English teaching by investigating how to raise students' question awareness in English classroom teaching.By adopting an experiment design, this study has implemented strategies of raising question awareness, gradually raised students' question awareness and improved their learning methods. A classroom full of independent English learning atmosphere has been built gradually and the students' activeness in learning has been strengthened.The research has the following findings: 1) Raising question awareness enables the students to upgrade their English level, and girls make greater progress in English learning than boys; 2) It improves their reading ability and grammar accuracy.Based on the above findings, it is suggested that more effective strategies should be implemented to help further develop students' question awareness and their thinking ability so that their reading ability and grammar accuracy will be improved better. Besides, students' learning methods should be paid more attention to, especially the boys'. What's more, teachers should improve their qualities so as to satisfy the need of the students with strong question awareness. If so, developing question awareness will promote English learning to a higher degree, students will have the ability of learning all their lives, and cultivating more creative persons for the future society will be possible.
