With the Central Government’s implementation of rural students’ nutrition improvement policies, the feeding for rural students from private acts of charity evolves into government actions also attracted the interest of education community, becomes the focus of scholars in the field of pedagogy today.In view of the above analysis, this paper will focus on the feeding modes of nutrition meal.The first Department is the introduction, mainly introduces the research significance, the research origin, research review, research methods and research path, and the definition of related concepts. The second Department introduces the policy background and era background of the countryside student nutrition policy, points out that the policy issued by the folk "free lunch" positive impact of public welfare activities, but also has its inevitability. This part also introduces the present stage general situation of the implementation of the policy.After introduced the basic situation of rural students’ nutrition improvement policies, the paper will introduce the three feeding modes of rural students. The third Department, fourth Department and fifth Department respectively introduce the school dining-room mode, enterprises (units) mode and family’s meal mode. The advantage of school dining-room mode can be summarized three aspects:government-led, content-rich, easy to promote. But at the same time, it is based on the government leading, this mode also has three kinds of shortcomings:lack of financial security, regulate too general, difficult personnel management. Compared with the school dining-room mode, the biggest difference of the enterprises (units) mode is that the enterprise is the main part of the meal, so it has three advantages:high operational efficiency, saving administrative costs and time cost. But its drawbacks are also obvious. First, the enterprise profit-driven may impact the nutritional meals public welfare. Second, there is a food safety hazard. Third, food nutrition is a single. Fourth, it is restricted by transport conditions. Family’s meal mode is similar to enterprises (units) mode, but its scale is smaller, and its access is lower, so its advantage is that simple operation, low cost, the minimum guarantee. However, the model drawbacks are apparent because of its limitations:great food safety hazards, regulatory difficulties, difficulties in determining the responsible person.In the face of the advantages and disadvantages of three feeding modes, the sixth part of this paper summarizes their inspiration:we should adhere to the school dining-room mode as the main body, public welfare as the core, and efficiency as the goal. Meanwhile, we must pay attention to the drawbacks of the three feeding modes, and through many other efforts to make three kinds of feeding modes can play an active role: Perfect the system of laws and regulations, increase security fund investment, strengthen leadership and improve supervision.
