With the implement of a new round of basic education curriculum reform and the establishment of three-level curriculum management system, more and more attention is paid to the development of school-based curriculum. From the perspective of domestic research on school-based curriculum, not only has the further development of the theory about school-based curriculum occurred, but also the further regulation on the operation of school-based curriculum has appeared. My study is based on the previous theoretical studies of school-based curriculum development. I choose literature research, survey research, case study and other research methods as my research methods.I also take A school as my typical case, trying to explore the success of A junior high school and summarizes its existing problems for providing reference to other schools which carry on science and technology school-based curriculum development.The whole text consists of four parts:The first part is the introduction, which introduces the research reasons, research significance, the definitions of related concept, literature review and research methods in my thesis.The second part reveals the present developmental situation of science and technology school-based curriculum development in A school from five sides:development background, curriculum design, curriculum implementation, curriculum evaluation and curriculum effect. Part three discusses its existing problems in science and technology school-based curriculum development of A junior high school and analyze its reasons.Part four provides the proposal of implementation for science and technology school-based curriculum development. In order to promote sustainable development of science and technology school-based curriculum in A junior high school, my thesis tries to improve it from four sides:Improving reward mechanism for science and technology education; Broadening teacher training mode and promoting teachers’ professional growth; Strengthening the inter-school cooperation capacity of science and technology school-based curriculum development; Striving for the broad support of parents and society.
