Mental health problems of young people has become a worldwide research topic in recent years, vocational high school students’ mental health problems are more and more concerned community. The author at the time because of work for school students in the various issues found on the issue of mental health vocational high school students with respect to the single-parent family households students complete more worrying.In this paper, a vocational high school in Wuhan parent families mental health of students for the study, using a psychology professor at East China Normal University zhou bu cheng amendments from the "Mental Health Test Scale"(MHT) as a measurement tool for mental health investigate the situation. I hope through research can learn more about vocational high school students in single-parent families and mental health problems and trying to find possible causes and remedial measures to alleviate mental health problems.The first part focuses on the introduction research purpose, meaning, the main content and research methods, and single-parent families for vocational high school students and their psychological problems related fields of study dynamics are discussed.The second part, payment and recovery of paper, single-parent families and intact families student mental health of students by comparing single-parent families understand the vocational high school students’ mental health status and existing problems. Single-parent families in the mental health diagnoses of students overall average score of31.64is higher than the average score of students in intact families28.5, and there is a statistically significant difference; single-parent families on the physical symptoms of students average score4.76higher than the full dimension of the students’ families averaged3.86, and there is a significant difference statistically; single-parent families on average student scores on impulsivity dimension of4.76is higher than the full family of students scoring3.18, and there is a statistically significant difference; single-parent families tend to students in solitude the average score of3.18is higher than the full dimension of the family of students scoring2.05, and there is a statistically significant difference.That single-parent families of students in terms of mental health problems in general significantly higher complete family of students, especially in physical symptoms, impulsive tendencies, loneliness tend to three dimensions, single-parent families prominent student mental health issues and there are statistically significant differences.The third part, by referring to the relevant literature and to consult experts and experienced, get the possible causes of health problems in single-parent families vocational high school students to highlight the three psychology. Produce physical symptoms of anxiety and individual students, backward parenting styles, closely related to the special school environment; impulsive tendencies are affected and adolescence, parents’ words and deeds the family, classmates, teachers and students exchanges of mutual influence, complex the social environment related; tendency to produce character lonely introverted students, inappropriate self-evaluation and attribution bias, lack of social interaction skills, special family environment for the growth of these factors.The fourth part, according to the survey results of the foregoing analysis, and refer to the relevant literature, propose appropriate remedial measures for each outstanding mental health problems. Mental health quality personalized training to help students improve their ability to resist setback, focus on parent-child communication, learning science education, optimizing the educational environment to help slow down the school’s physical symptoms; establishment of specialized counseling stations in schools, promote harmonious family upbringing way children develop good habits, strengthen class culture, and promote emotional communication between teachers and students, regulate the behavior of media publicity, and to strengthen the guidance of positive energy, help slow impulsive tendencies; correctly evaluate their own and others, overcome inferiority, master certain social interaction skills, providing social support, the establishment of single-parent families related assistance to help mitigate the social security mechanism lonely tendencies.
