As the knowledge economy era, knowledge has replaced land, labor, capital and other traditional factors of production, jumped as the most vital economic resource and the dominant source of competitive advantage. Consequently, how to use effective knowledge management tools for the development of knowledge innovation to achieve competitive advantage, are problems to be solved for all levels of organizations. As a key element of knowledge management actions, knowledge transfer is becoming the critical competitive advantage for many organizations.Universities as knowledge and talent double gathering, a lot of knowledge transfer activities take place here, the previous researches of knowledge transfer went along two basic clues of inside and outside in organizational entities. Internal knowledge transfer between teachers and students as a microcosm of university knowledge transfer within the organization, their performance has a basic position. And doctoral students as the highest level of university cultivation, an important force on scientific research and knowledge innovation, knowledge transfer performance between doctoral tutor and doctoral student directly affect the ability of university knowledge innovation. Therefore, it is essential to conduct knowledge transfer research between teachers and students within the university to improve the knowledge transfer efficiency between them, so enhancing the innovative capability of university.I started with university knowledge transfer features and influencing factors, by using theoretical analysis combining with empirical analysis, knowledge transfer performance between doctoral tutor and doctoral student within university research are analyzed.Main research contents are as follows:(1)Existing research on knowledge transfer, university knowledge transfer and knowledge transfer between doctoral tutor and doctoral student is reviewed. Afterwards, the content and technical path of this paper is decided, and the main innovation of this article is distinguished.(2)Constitute knowledge transfer features and process mode, basing the results of theoretical analysis, constructing influence factor model of knowledge transfer and proposing theoretical assumptions.(3)Empirical analysis of influence factors of knowledge transfer between doctoral tutor and doctoral student. Fundamental datas are obtained by questionnaire surveyed. By using correlation analysis and regression analysis, influence factors of knowledge transfer are empirical analyzed.Through the above research work, the main paper conclusions are as following:(1)Different sexes, different ages, different professional categories of knowledge transfer between teachers and students on the whole there was a significant difference.(2) The direct influence factors of knowledge transfer performance between doctoral tutor and doctoral student are including the knowledge attributes, teaching ability, trust, knowledge distance, and absorptive capability. At the same time the knowledge transfer means moderated the above influence relation.Based on the research above, this paper gave valuable suggestions on promoting the knowledge transfer between doctoral tutor and doctoral student and made prospect for the future research.
