Objective: Depicting the stages of the development movement perception by testing thecurrent movement perception status of7-15years old students. Confirming the existence ofmovement perception sensitive period by implementing intervention on students who havelarge varieties in the level of movement perception. The results will provide a new referencefor the development of physical study of the children, and provide new ideas for the P.E.curriculum in primary and secondary school.Research contents:1. screening the age to be tested for the level of movement perceptiontest;2. analyze the testing data and depict the movement perception development curve;3.analyze the physical and physiological characteristics of the students in this age, and confirmthe sensitive period according to the movement perception development curve;4. determinethe specific ages of sensitive period by carrying out the exercise intervention experiments.Methods:1. Test the level of movement perception of the children. Select6areas as the testingpilots in Hebei Province by stratified sampling method. Collect the movement perception dataof1703students in the primary and secondary schools in the city, county and rural areas ofthis region.2. Verify the existence of movement perception sensitive period. Select40urbanstudents in a sensitive period for movement perception specialized training and labeled asGroup A; group B:40urban students in the same age period with group A, but receiving theconventional PE teaching; group A1:40rural students in the same age with group A, andreceiving the same training with group A; group C:40urban students in different age periodwith group A and receiving the same training of group A; group D:40urban students in thesame age with group C, with conventional PE training. For the A, A1and C group, themovement perception specialized training was conducted three times a week in theconsecutive three months; for the B and D group, the conventional training was conducted thesame way as group A, A1and C. Finally, we compare the level of movement perceptionbefore and after the training and the difference between the five groups. Results:1. Analyze the test data and get the following results: there is significant differencebetween urban and rural areas in the level of movement perception; for the students of sameage period, the rural areas is higher than that in the county, the county is higher than that inthe city.2. Based on the movement perception development curve, the movement perceptionsensitive period is focused in8-13years old. Considering the growth and developmentcharacteristics of children, we make the movement perception sensitive period in8-9yearsold.3. Experimental validation results: group A is significantly higher than group B afterintervention in the movement perception; the results in group A is higher than the results ingroup C and the improvement is in large extent. The results illustrate: the specific training canenhance the level of movement perception, and the range will be improved in a large extentduring the training of sensitive period.4. Movement perception development has little correlation with the development ofphysical quality, and relatively independent from the five physical qualities.Conclusion:1. The movement perception sensitive period is8-9years old.2. The specific training can enhance the level of movement perception, and the trainingduring the sensitive period plays a multiplier effect.3. Growth environment has impact on movement perception. However, the influence ofenvironment will be reduced after the stimulation of sensitive period. The influence ofsensitive period is larger than that of the level of perception.4. Movement perception development is relatively independent from the physical qualityand the movement selection and curriculum choices need to be considered how to promote thedevelopment of movement perception independently.
