As English has become the most widely used language in the world, the English language teaching of China has been developing rapidly in the recent years. The English teaching of Middle school is the basic stage of the practical use of English. It has been regarded as the most important and difficult point in China’s teaching reform. Although the reform of Senior High school English teaching has already made much progress, due to long term effects of "The College Entrance Examination" which we call it a commander of China’s education, the recent English teaching lay particular stress on intellective education but ignore emotional education in China’s senior high school.In allusion to the phenomena above, and in order to deal with the problems, the author tries to investigate the recent English teaching by means of descriptive method, literature review, questionnaire and observation. The survey results indicate that English Emotional Education can be greatly accelerated by the way of fully excavating the Emotional elements in the text book, building nice relations between interest and striving to establish ecological English classroom. The survey also shows that the important and difficult point lies in that whether the emotional factors in the English teaching can be fully used to create harmonious and pleasant English classroom and stimulate the learning interest of students.This article is dived into five parts. Chapter one mainly introduce the background, purpose and significance and the study. The second chapter describes the theoretical foundation of Emotional Education at home and abroad and gives summary to the current research of Emotional Education. The third chapter analyzes the state and problems of the Emotional Education in high school English teaching of China. The survey results find that cognition is seriously separated from emotion in the teaching process, which causes the low learning efficiency. Chapter four tries to introduce some Emotional teaching methods. The last chapter is the conclusion of the text, which tells the limitations of the study and the self-refection of the study.
