Studies Using Photoshop Computer Art Course In High School

With the development of information technology, computer is becoming more and more important in modern society. Based on computer technology, computer art is widespread in art field and people’s daily life. But computer art is not widely promoted in middle school’s art education as well as teaching Photoshop. Although computer art is listed as compulsory courses in university, it only plays small part in middle school education. This paper argue that teaching Photoshop is necessary in junior middle school because it has many advantages over other applications as new and practical popular software and this paper also argue that Photoshop should be applied reasonably. Because many middle schools lack textbook and other necessary condition, it is difficult to teach computer in junior middle school.To solve the problem, this paper comes up with solutions to use Photoshop education to make junior middle school computer art course better and some suggestion for teaching skills and methods for Photoshop. This paper is based on nation course reformation background and use mehods of reference, practical experience, case study in studying application of Photoshop in junior middle school’s art education. This paper aim at promoting computer art in junior middle school’s art education.To conclude, there are some creative points in this paper. First, it is important to teach Photoshop in junior middle school’s computer art education. Second, based on practical problem for application of Photoshop in school’s education, some course design principles are promoted. Third, some suggestions are promoted for specific methods and skills in teaching photosbop in junior middle school’s computer art education.
