The development of sport enterprise is a symbol of the nationalstrength. And the strengthof the national power also depends on the improvement of all civilian’s constitution. In orderto meet the needs of society for talent, the Ministry of Education newly issued "sports andhealth course standard" for primary and middle schools. The standard is explored from newteaching idea, teaching target and teaching content. It just conformswith outward training.Outward training is a way of training which can inspire our potential, improve ourabilities, open our minds, stimulate our imagination and develop our abilities to analysis andproblem solving. In addition,it can not only help people to get pleasure but also double a senseof personal achievement. Outward training is also an effective means of raising cooperationability. It is an urgent problem in introducing outward bound to high school physical educationthat how to overcome the conditions which affect the operation of outward bound in currentconditions and how to apply outward bound into the Physical Education curriculum resourceseffectively. This paper is based on the theory of education of outward bound, psychology ofoutward bound, and sociology of outward bound. What’s more, the researcher use themethods of literature, interviews, case law, surveys and other research methods, and thenanalyze the elements which affect the operation of outward bound in high school physicaleducation. Furthermore, development strategies of outward bound in high school are alsoprovided as follows:First, implement different kinds of outward bound projects according tothe characteristics of different ages. Second, strengthen the teaching staff, and improve theprofessional quality of instructors.Third, provide the necessary venues and equipment foroutward bound. Fourth, strengthen propaganda so that people may have a correctunderstanding of outward bound. Fifth, conduct a risk assessment and establish a securitysystem. Sixth, establish sound curriculum management system in order to provide aninstitutional guarantee for the implementation of outward bound. According to thesedevelopment strategies, four teaching models are established. For example, the first teachingmodel is the expanding type of outward bound which aims to raise the main initiative of thestudents. In addition, the second teaching model is the development type of outward boundwhich has the goal of fostering students’ lifelong sports consciousness. Furthermore, the third teaching model is the development-oriented outward bound which has the main objective ofmastering motor skills. Last but not least, the fourth teaching model is the cooperation type ofoutward bound which aims to build up the team spirit.According to the actual situation in Junior High School, the concept of training andphysical education are combined to develop appropriate educational programs and teachingprograms. Based on the four education model, the author’s teaching practice in Junior HighSchool showed that: compared with traditional sports teaching mode, outward bound is moreentertaining, challenging, and practical. To meet the needs of students, to attract the attentionof students, and meet the needs of physical education reform, outward bound shouldintegrate into school physical education. Because it not only can enrich teaching resources butalso can benefit students. Outward bound integrate into school physical education is feasible. In addition, the two relevant concepts, and Physical Education Resources in space, equipment, time, capital and other conditions or some human factors can be appropriate to outward boundto meet the changing conditions of implementation; expand training with a certain degree ofrisk, in the implementation of school physical education can reduce the difficulty, improvesafety awareness, regular maintenance space and equipment, establish a sound projectmanagement system. To summarize the effect of the implementation, review, identifydeficiencies and adjust the measures suggested: Safety is the first element to expand thetraining implementation; teachers should be fully prepared to work flexibly, and responseemergencies immediately; strengthening teacher team building and training; teaching contentand goals to rationalize; exploit rich social and natural resources, and make the best use ofthem. Outward bound may provide fresh data for the physical education curriculum resources, and contribute to a reform and development of Physical Education.
