With the development and progress of science and technology era, illustrations increasingly being applied to a wide range of materials, both in terms of color, content and quantity, illustrations in mathematics textbooks have undergone great changes. In recent years, comparative study materials at home and abroad, more and more of these materials is more a sort of textbook evolution, for example illustration is only one part of a relatively small aspect of teaching, and not specifically for the entire combing and depth comparative study of mathematics and detailed illustrations make the case.In this paper, the People’s Education Press and Publishing House of Beijing Normal University junior high school mathematics textbooks, a total of12books for the study, with "mathematics curriculum standards" as the theoretical basis, select the text in the illustration document analysis, comparative study, Comparative analysis of three methods of teaching comparative study commenced detailed illustrations and in-depth. Focus on content and real-life illustrations of contact, select the content fit the students’ real life as possible.Overall, these two sets of textbooks illustration design can reflect the requirements of the textbook illustrations written "mathematics curriculum standards", two versions of textbook illustrations crafting, teachers should pay attention to the situation in the teaching experience illustrations designed to further develop and improve junior high school mathematics textbook illustration of the proposed changes to textbook writers to provide for the students to learn better use of illustrations and illustrations correctly handle new teachers to achieve better teaching results provide ideas.
