In late years, fever in Chinese language study has been booming in Thailand and the number of Chinese language learners keeps increasing. On the background of a great many primary and secondary schools already have Chinese language classes, some schools with good teaching conditions start to open high school Chinese language class, aimed at cultivating professional Chinese talents and write Chinese language study as a major into the high school Chinese teaching outline.This paper in light of high school Chinese language class in six different schools in Southern Thailand, using interviews and questionnaire survey, with the actual data in combination with the author’s two years teaching experience, analyzes and summarizes the condition of high school Chinese language class, in order to find some enlightenment for the development of Chinese teaching and learning.This paper firstly does a brief explanation about the necessity and purpose of the high school Chinese language class. Then generally introduces the teaching conditions of high school Chinese language class in the six schools in Songkhla Province. Then analyzes and compares the students, teachers and teaching materials. At last, puts forward some suggestions based on the existing problems.
