College Students’ Values Education Under The View Of Mass Culture

Development of mass culture increasingly not only broughtopportunities for the values education of college students, but alsoposes a significant challenge. Therefore, it is necessary to analysisthe essence of value rationality, and then find the right path of thecontemporary college students’ values education and scientific waybase on our modern context to college students’ values educationunder the view of mass culture. This paper talked about the theme ofcollege students’ values education around the mass culture vision.Itis divided into six parts: Part one: this is the preface of this article. Itis based on the paper selected topic background and significance,research contents, research situation at home and abroad, studiesthe main methods and the innovation of the research are discussed.Part two: this part is mainly to define the concept of mass culture.First of all, explains the understanding of culture from the multiple meanings of culture; Then further expounds the connotation ofpopular culture, popular culture and high culture and popular culturecharacteristics. It is to better understand the mass culture. Part three:this part summarizes the values of the related content. It is consist ofthe concept and nature of values, the values formation developmentmechanism and the values of college students. It was carried out indetail in this paper. Part four: positive and negative effects of massculture brings to the college students’ values are analyzed andexplained from four aspects. Part five: this part mainly aimed at thenegative influence of mass culture brings to the college students’values education. It talked college students’ values education fromthree aspects under the view of mass culture. It has carried on thecomprehensive elaboration, and respectively from three aspects ofmass culture value nature, college students’ values education underthe view of mass culture. Then it puts forward that we shouldcorrectly handle some relations and college students’ valueseducation path under the view of mass culture to carry on thedetailed analysis and the rational analysis.
