Rural Family Intergeneration Emotional Interaction Research From Symbolic Interaction Perspective

The transformation and development of society promotes Chinese family structure miniaturization, which causes family intergenerational relationship changes. Intergenerational emotional interaction is the main content of family intergenerational relationship, including emotional appeal and the parental generation affective return. The degree of population aging in China becomes more and more serious, the aging population in the material and spiritual demand has become increasingly prominent. Highlight the intergenerational emotional interaction problem. It puts forward the new request to the young generation’s emotional reward. Harmonious intergenerational relations is the elderly get intergenerational emotional return security to support the normal operation of China’s pension system.Selecting affective interaction between rural intergenerational family, namely intergenerational emotional rewards and demands, as the object of study, In this paper, using the symbolic interaction theory, through a case study of S County Y village, the intergenerational emotional interaction of China’s current situation of rural households, and tries to discuss the current rural family emotional reward model.Conclusion:This paper think, symbol (expression, behavior, language)meaning plays an important role in the intergenerational emotional interaction; in contemporary rural family, filial generation returns showing rigidity characteristics, namely non emotional but compliance based on returns; return cost pressures caused intergenerational emotional appeal;"the ethics of responsibility" is the core element maintain intergenerational emotional interaction.In the view of the above conclusion, the author thinks that if the two generation can understanding correctly each other about their symbol meaning,can promote the positive solution of family intergenerational emotional interaction problems and improve the parent’s quality of life and happiness.The author uses the perspective of family social work practice to propose the following measures:The use of "role reversal" skills to carry out family practice; play ’education function; practice philosophy of "helping people help themselves", promote parents "self-help" development; improve the construction of rural social old-age insurance system.
