Intergenerational nurturing, which is a product of the interaction between the state and society,is widespread in urban families in the China's transitional period.Intergenerational nurturing has reduced the family burden of young parents, increased family welfare, and to a certain extent made up for the lack of social systems related to upbringing. However, due to conflicts between grandparents and parents in terms of parenting concepts and family power,so intergenerational nurturing often affects the evolution of intergenerational relationship. This research uses observation and interview methods to study a typical intergenerational nurturing family, trying to describe the evolution of intergenerational relationships in intergenerational nurturing, and explore the logic of the evolution of intergenerational relationships.Study have found that the evolution of intergenerational relationships in intergenerational nurturing is a dynamic development process. The dynamic process is deeply influenced by both individual and structure. On the one hand, the differences in the motivations of individual behaviors have caused intergenerational conflicts;on the other hand, the incomplete nurturing social system, social risks, and the life logic of responsibility in traditional family culture have promoted intergenerational integration. The intergenerational relationship of the intergenerational nurturing family is diverse and dynamic. To a certain extent,it is the result of the structural pressure of modern society being transferred to the family. At the same time, traditional family culture still has a stabilizing effect on the existence and continuation of the family. Therefore,it is necessary to build a better intergenerational relationship in the family, and enhance the ability of resist social risks for family.
