Research On The Intergenerational Relations Of Urban Families

Along with the increase of social transformation strength and the deepening of economic system reform,the current situation of employment is becoming increasingly rigorous,house prices continue to grow,fertility and rising cost of living,and constantly improve the old-age insurance policy background,the city of parents in such aspects as economy,life in the family to help their children become a common phenomenon.Has a lot of research on this phenomenon was studied,and according to the different degree of parental help child explores the current our country family intergenerational relationships,part of scholars believe that the family intergenerational imbalance,in the period of social transition of the younger generation is more and more emphasis on individual interests and ignore the family,no longer follow the principle of fairness,between parents and children,for example,fall into the same phenomenon.The other part thinks that under the influence of the traditional filial culture and family-oriented culture,the intergenerational relationship between families in China is not unbalanced,but develops a consultative intergenerational relationship after the game between individuals and families.In fact,no matter what kind of intergenerational relationship is,there is no denying that family members are affected in the process of individualization,and family intergenerational relationship is also changing,full of tension and elasticity.Therefore,this article takes guiyang X village family as the research object,adopting research method of qualitative research,quantitative research is complementary,through in-depth interviews and two methods of questionnaire investigation to collect information,more harmonious intergenerational relations and contradictions type two kinds of family intergenerational relationship,to analyze the current urban family intergenerational solidarity and contradiction,by comparing the two types of families tried to present the current situation of urban family intergenerational relationships,existing problems and difficulties,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures,and have been discussed on the basis of the existing literature in the process of individual responsibility ethics and emotion in intergenerational relations has played a what kind of role.This study based on the theory of social exchange theory and generational differences research urban family intergenerational relationship,the research content includes the relationship between the exchange level and communication level,the relationship between the former mainly refers to the generation to support the family resource flows between parents and children,the latter is refers to the relationship of parental and child in the family,intergenerational emotional state.This paper analyzes the data from the aspects of "the current situation of intergenerational help","the attitude of both sides to intergenerational support behavior" and "parents' satisfaction with intergenerational relationship",and shows the intergenerational resource flow and intergenerational relationship from three dimensions of economy,labor and emotion.It is found that the current downward flow of urban household resources is manifested in the economic and labor assistance provided by parents to their children.By comparing the harmony and contradiction between two types of inter-generational relations family found that first,intergenerational responsibility ethics is between urban family resource flows down the main cultural factors,and the timeliness of parental responsibility ethic is infinite amplification,parental based on core values of children home pay is far greater than the offspring of parental support;Second,intergenerational emotion plays a role in intergenerational relations.Families with harmonious intergenerational relations take the initiative to provide intergenerational support to their children out of love and care for their children,while parents in families with contradictory intergenerational relations are bound by parent-child emotions and have to help their children.Third,traditional family values show resilience,and the cultural values of "parent-child integration" have not died out with the process of modernization.
