With the popularization of higher education era, the demand for high-level talentis increasing, enrollment in graduate has expanded each year, and its cultivation isalso becoming more diverse forms and specifications. Connotative development,building an innovative country, cultivate innovative talents, we have to rely onimproving quality based on the quality of education is an important lifeline, only byadhering to raise the quality of education as a core mission of education reform anddevelopment, establish a scientific education quality, adhere to focus on improvingthe quality of the scale of the unification of the people can really run a satisfactoryeducation.Graduate as a high-level talent, not only need to have the discipline and theprofessional level of basic theoretical knowledge and research, independent researchcapability, but also have a high ideological and political quality. Including research background and significance,research ideas and methods, current research and innovation of this paper and deficiencies that may exist.The second part is the content-type and post-graduate education overview of theideological and political theory. Through education content development relatedoverview, bedding relevant theoretical basis to explain the inevitable link between thetwo.The third part analyzes the status quo graduate ideological and politicaleducation. Currently, graduate students ideological and political education hasachieved some success, has made great progress, but to achieve connotativedevelopment of higher education, currently there are still some problems to be solvedin order to give full play to the effectiveness of ideological and political education ofgraduate students.The fourth part of higher education to deepen the connotation of developmenttheory, boost the effectiveness of ideological and political education of graduatestudents. Education for the current problems exist, from the philosophy of education,educational content, teaching methods, teaching staff and the construction of fiveenvironmental point of view, to clarify the meaning of higher education to promotedevelopment, effective measures to enhance the effectiveness of ideological andpolitical education of graduate students.
