In2003the Ministry of Education promulgated the "ordinary high school geography curriculum standard (Experiment)"."Basic education curriculum reform program (Trial)" pointed out:the national curriculum standard is the evidence of textbooks, teaching, evaluation and examination. Thus, curriculum standards can guide teaching. On "knowledge" objectives, curriculum criteria uses the action verbs such as "get","understand" and " utilize ".This shows that, for high school geography teaching requirements, is no longer limited to the memory and recite the level of the junior middle school stage, but has the promotion, to reach the level of understanding and using the knowledge of geography. But in high school geography teaching in current, Many teachers do not analyze the geographical knowledge types, mostly by instilling and requiring students to rote memory, not only increase the burden on students, but also is not conducive to the students to understand and apply geographic knowledge, At the same time, contrary to the relevant requirements of curriculum standards. Based on this, this article from the six part focuses on the high school geography procedural knowledge of instructional strategies were studied, In order to provide reference for the teaching practice in senior high school geography teachers, at the same time, promote the curriculum standard goal reaching degree in geography teaching in senior high school.The first part is "Introduction" mainly discusses the basis of research, analyzes the present research situation of this subject at home and abroad, prospects the significance of the study, describes the research target, technical route, research methods and innovation.The second part "Overview of the geographic process knowledge" is based on the understanding of procedural knowledge, explains the connotation of the geographic process knowledge, representation, classification and learning stage, combined with relevant examples and case. The third part "the geography of procedural knowledge of instructional strategies" is mainly based on the geographic process knowledge learning declarative knowledge stage, reconstruction and transformation stage (stylized phase) and extraction and application stage (automation Stage) three stages and puts forward the corresponding teaching strategies(the narrow sense). At the same time, systematically combs the procedural knowledge of the geography textbook1and proposed the corresponding teaching strategies.The fourth part "Requirements of the teaching design and case based on geographical procedural knowledge" puts forward the teaching design requirements based on geographical procedural knowledge and illustrates it with "Horizontal movement of the atmosphere" lesson as a case.Finally, the conclusion of the study are summarized in this paper, the relevant and possible research fields are prospected.
