High school is an important period of human development, students will gradually from dependence on their parents and independent, but how the parents raise their children to a certain extent have been deeply affected them. Will different parenting style affect their high school life? Therefore, I select indicators of subjective well-being as a trade-off. Previous studies told us that personality, gender, etc. are factors that have impact on SWB. But, the author think resilience may be a very important factor as wellThis study uses questionnaires to investigate three high school grades on a school at random, like EMBU, SWB and RSCA. We distributed300questionnaires,284valid questionnaires, the effective rate was94.67%. The age of subjects ranges17.22±2.15years old. Conclusions are listed as follows:1. The parenting styles between male and female are significant different. Fathers’ punishment strictness and rejection students are significant towards male students is significantly higher than female ones.2.The parents of Grade Two are significant different with other grades’, specially in F3, F4and M4. Those parents of low grades seem to be more over-parenting.3. Their satisfaction is at the medium level. They have more positive emotions and less negative emotions.4. With the increase of grade, the positive emotional experience decreased and negative emotions increased.5.There exists significant difference in the gender, the boys have better ability in emotional control, but the girls have better positive cognition and family support.6. The one-child gets low scores in human relationship and total scores in resilience.7. Different grade students in mental toughness and the dimensions were significant differences in scores.8. The results of correlation analysis show that:The father’s emotional warmth and understanding, mother’s warmth and understanding and mental toughness has a significant positive correlation with resilience. Father’s overprotection, excessive interference or mother’s over-protective and mental toughness have a significant negative correlation with resilience. The five dimensions of resilience and the total scores of subjective well-being have a very significant positive correlation.9. The regression analysis show that:Parenting styles can predict the resilience and subject well-being. The resilience is the partial mediation between parenting styles and subject well-being.Conclusions based on this study, the author presents some educational suggestions to family education for secondary school students and school mental health education carried out to provide help to improve parent-child relationships, and enhance mental toughness of high school students to promote their subjective well-being improved.In accordance with the above conclusions, a few educational suggestions are put forward to make parents know how to communicate with their children, in order to make relationship well between parents and their children and to lead to better resilience of middle school students.
