| The setting of environment is a very important part in role play. It was supposed to be children participate in the work, while it has become main work of preschool teachers for various reasons in nowadays kindergarten. The environment setting separates children from the play as a whole, thus reduces the children’s chance of operating materials and potential of developing creativity. As children is the master of the game, the environment setting should let all the children involved, which conforms to children’s learning characteristics in their age and is required by the role play.This action research, taking children in the top class of F kindergarten as research subjects, organizes and implements four activities by two kinds of topics. It adopted a circulation of plan-action-evaluation-plan-action, aiming to solve the problem of environment setting without children involved. And this is a creative and operational research based on sound theories, conforming to the ecological view of games and the theory of autonomy, which truly improved children’s ability of playing games. The research proved that children began to have the awareness of setting environment and forming a habit. Besides, the time of playing games becomes longer. And the ability of the children have improved in planning, designing, imagination, thinking, solving problems,communicating etc.. At last, the result of the research shows that:it is feasible for children to be involved in the environment setting of role play; the matter is that teachers give chances to children to be involved; whether or not the role play environment setting could be involved in role play and form a habit concerns to many factors such as material management, game conditions, teacher’s concept on games etc.. |
