Talent cultivation is the basic function of a university, cultivate and fostertalents as the university pursuit of eternal value. Therefore, university educators whoneed to be deep thinking inevitably: one is what kind of idea training talents; thesecond is how to cultivate the ideal talents. The substance of this paper is to clarify theevolution orbit of our country university personnel training in one hundred years,explore the law of our country university personnel training in the evolution of theconcept. This will be the "University personnel training concept " as a startingpoint.This paper uses method of documents and materials, case law, comparative lawresearch methods to discuss our country university system on the evolution of ideason talent in one hundred years, the full text is divided into five chapters. Specific asfollows:The first chapter is the introduction part. This chapter mainly elaborated thepaper selected topic background research significance, the research methods, definedthe core concepts, such as talent, training concept and so on, and made literaturereview of the existing research results.The second chapter is to generalize three types of China university talentscultivation concept, compare three kinds of talent concept and characteristics from thehorizontal dimension in the period of the republic horizontal dimension, and toexplore personnel training idea, as Cai Yuanpei in Peking University, and Mei Yiqi inTsinghua University.The third chapter generalizes that two classes of educators to cultivate " to bebest and profession” construction of senior talents in the early founding of ouruniversity, and then to analyze Jiang Nanxiang taking Tsinghua university as anexample, discusses the formation and development of the concept of talent trainingand value;The fourth chapter generalizes two stages of about our country’s universitypersonnel training in the era after reform and opening-up, with Liu Daoyu at the helm of Wuhan university as an example, analyzes the theory of cultivating creative talentsthat he raised.Chapter five analyzes our country university personnel training concept in onehundred years of development history from the longitudinal and the transversedimension, and discuss affects factors and law of evolution of our country universitypersonnel training.The evolvement of talent education ideas in Chinese universities is characterizedby distinct historical phases. By making horizontal and vertical comparisons andstudying the evolvement of talent education ideas in Chinese universities from theviewpoint of pedagogy, philosophy, and sociology, the paper outlines the types oftalent education ideas and their characteristics in three historical periods, analyzingthe typical cases of each period. This paper aims to draw lessons from history,exploring the centennial evolvement of talent education in Chinese universities andthe laws in it in hope of providing theoretical support and references for the reformand development of China’s higher education especially on the issues concerning whatsort of talent education ideas should university educators have and how to developtalents.
