The Study Of The Socialist Core Value Education Of College Students Under The Multi-culture Background

With the rapid development of world economic globalization and the accelerating the process of our reform and opening up, great changes have taken place in our society, presenting a multicultural pattern. On the one hand, it provides us with a variety of value choice, creating more value choice; On the other hand, it also makes people to face the confusion of the value judgment and value choice, causing the unprecedented impact to the college students of their values. Due to the ability is not yet mature, under the multicultural background, they will feel more the confusion of value that are more likely to make them to appear behavior anomie. So in the new period, the ideological and political education in colleges and universities must strengthen the education of the college students’ values. At the same time, the report of the18th National congress of the Communist Party of China on cultivating and practicing the socialist core values question puts forward "three advocated": advocating prosperous and strong, democratic, civilized and harmonious, advocating freedom, equality, justice, rule of law, advocating patriotic, dedicated, sincere, friendly. They point out the direction of actively cultivating the socialist core values. The colleges and universities should combine "three advocated" constantly strengthen the cultivation of college students’ socialist core values.Under the guidance of Marxist theory and following the spirit of the party central committee on college students’ ideological and moral education file, the paper discusses the issues and methods of cultivating college students’ socialist core values under the multicultural background by using the theory of ideological and political education. The essay is divided into three parts. The first part elaborates the concept and characteristics of the cultural diversity and analyzes the influence and significance of cultivating college students’ socialist core values.
