The chemistry homework is an integral part of chemistry teaching in senior high school,and it is highly beneficial to the quality of chemistry teaching and learning. The NewCurriculum Reform has been carried out for more than ten years and has got greatachievements, however, as an important part of chemistry teaching reform of the chemistryhomework are not so good. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the status quo of thechemistry homework for senior high school students and quest the design as well as thereform of the homework.Based on organizing the High school homework related materials, and combined withchemical subject and teaching characteristic, I compile “Senior high school chemistryhomework questionnaire” including teacher questionnaire and student questionnaire, conducta survey among65teachers and403students, and make statistics and analysis aiming at theresults of the survey.Through the actual observation and the questionnaire survey in the high schoolchemistry classroom, associated the Present situation, this study gets the followingconclusions:(1)About chemistry homework’s attitudes, teachers and students has existinsufficient understanding and deviation;(2) The amount of high school chemistry homework:most teachers expected their students to finish their homework within30-45min every day,but teachers’ estimation of time to finish homework was overoptimistic,difficulty is largerthan the teacher expected;(3) In high school chemistry homework assignment are still toopay attention to the knowledge and skills most students didn’t like the present styles with toomany written exercises checking memory;(4) Homework form is relatively single: studentscouldn’t choose their own favorite homework styles, students of different levels had the samehomework;(5) Corrects homework:Teachers had almost a single way of homeworkevaluation and management, and so on.In the analysis investigation result foundation, Proposed improvement high schoolchemistry homework teaching recommendations:(1) Homework should be controlled in areasonable range, reasonable number or difficulty of assignments;(2) Strengthen operationlife and social;(3) Strengthening operation of inspiring and leading;(4) Homeworkembodiment of the diversity, openness and interest;(5) Consider the openness, level operation;(6) Homework evaluation should be full of wisdom, is clearly marked, patientguidance, sincere praise, the exchange of wisdom.Obtains after two weeks teaching experiment in the high school chemistry classroomimplemented the improve the effectiveness of the chemistry homework stimulates the studentto study chemistry greatly the interest, chemistry classroom teaching more vivid and active;Students willing to finish the chemistry homework assigned by the teacher; Also increasedthe degree of student to teacher’s love, Let the students not only admire the teacher’sRenaissance also willing to make friends with teachers, become partners of also architect alsofriends, and Help to improve students chemical performance. These attempts can hopeimprove the condition of current high school chemistry homework and practice positive role.These advantageous for the establishment in stimulate the enthusiasm and the creativitywhich the students studies, provided some beneficial references in the development life vigorhigh school chemistry classroom.
