Chen Dongyuan is a Republican educator, educational historians, many works. Haveimportant influence on important events transformation and political Chinese social, cultural,education on the history of Chen Dongyuan’s educational thought formation and development.The Chen Dongyuan cognitive level on the overview of traditional Chinese and westerneducation in the Republic of China as a standard, the development of Chen Dongyuan’seducational thought can be divided into incubation period, development period, filling periodand mature period four.Chen Dongyuan’s educational thought is divided into seven aspects, namely familyeducation and school education, women education thought, education thought, warfare,independent education thought, educational ideas and thoughts of the national education.Education in the family, Chen Dongyuan think that family education is a most importantaspect of human education, human life all cannot do without the family. Good familyeducation cannot do without parents have sense of responsibility of education, parents mustset an example for children. In school education, Chen Dongyuan called on the governmentand school construction both should pay attention to the style of study, to study pragmatic theancients seek truth from facts of the school spirit effective inheritance and development. Inthe aspect of women’s education, and Chen Dongyuan advocated the equality in access toeducation, gender discrimination, against. In the women’s curriculum, to respect women’spersonality, teach students in accordance with their aptitude. In warfare education, ChenDongyuan advocated during the eight years of the war that everyone should have the spirit ofsacrifice, but this did not care about personal bear sacrifice degree will be necessary to defeatthe Japanese aggressors factors.
