With the development of computer and communication technology, on the basis of modern science and technology of modern teaching means as the spring breeze blow into the elementary school language classroom, brought Chinese teaching a new perspective. However, Teacher-centered "chalk and blackboard" type of traditional classroom teaching mode has not adapt to the development of modern education and quality education requirement for talents cultivation. The application of modern teaching means in Chinese subject teaching can solve this Chinese education problem well.Under the guidance of constructivism theory, modern teaching means create a good learning environment and a positive learning atmosphere for Chinese teaching of the primary school, which built up the students’ subject status, achieved cooperative inquiry learning and made social life-long education and learning possible.Applying modern teaching means to Chinese teaching in primary school, firstly,you must understand the definition, classification and development courses of the teaching means. Secondly, by comparing with traditional teaching means, understand the advantages and disadvantages of two kinds of teaching means, so as to foster strengths and circumvent weaknesses, to combine two kinds of teaching means effective application elementary school language classroom. Therefore,in the first chapter of this article, this paper introduces the related information of teaching method; The second chapter, through the analysis of the present situation of Chinese teaching method in primary school, compare the merits and demerits of traditional teaching method and modern teaching means in Chinese teaching of primary school, and put forward coordinate method to the two kinds of means; The third chapter, according to the principle of application of modern teaching means, focus on the specific measures of applying modern teaching means in elementary school language teaching; Finally, in view of the specific application measures, put forward attentions to modern teaching methods applied to Chinese teaching in the primary school.This study used a host of cases, combined the pupils’ cognitive features with the characteristics of the Chinese curriculum of primary school, comparing with traditional teaching method, analyzed the application of modern teaching means of Chinese teaching in elementary school. However, in how to apply it into the Chinese teaching of elementary school systematically and evaluate the subsequent feedback still exist some deficiencies,which need further research in the future.
