| Along with the improvement of people’ living standard, the physical quality and psychological quality of elementary school students did not improve remarkably but in the decreasing process year by year in our country.Focus on the characteristics of pupils’physical and mental development, I tried to construct an expanding teaching mode of primary school physical education, and do the experimental study comparing with the traditional physical teaching mode. To explore the influence of expanding teaching model for the learning effect of primary school physical education, and provide beneficial reference and can be took as sample for the current elementary school physical education teaching.The study results show that the expanding teaching mode has a strong operability and feasibility.(1) The expanding teaching mode can increase the pupils’interests and positivity, mainly display in four aspects:the improvement of the degree of exercise participation; the improvement of the positive interests; the decrease of the negative interests, the improvement of the level of self-study.(2) The expanding teaching mode can promote the pupils to master the athletic ability and improve the physical quality., mainly display in followed aspects:the improvement of achievement in the standing long jump; the acceleration of speed in the50metres running;the increase of distance in throwing Medicine Ball.(3) The expanding teaching mode has an effect on pupils’ psychological healthy.
