Based on practice, physics is a very interesting course. Some physical concept, theorem, law or theory, are achieved through people’s observation and a large number of experiments in nature or in the laboratory.Without physics, physical phenomena and problems, which appear in nature, in daily life, as well as in the process of production, cannot be explained and solved.Middle school physics is not only practical and theoretical, but also interesting. However, because of the traditional teaching methods and the model of "exam oriented education", physics teachers only instilling knowledge of college entrance examination and let the students do lots of exercises in the class, which is completely against the fundamental of physics. As a result, the physics class loses its vitality. Examination oriented education model has come to its end. The tolerance of students, parents, teachers and society has reached to the limitation. The reform of the teaching mode has become imperative. But how to change education idea? How to make physics teaching become interesting again?The author has experienced the helpless and confusion of physics teaching which caused by the exam oriented education mode. However, the author has learned inquiry-based learning and new curriculum idea based classroom teaching mode through the platform of Institute of Science and Education. After taking part in the teacher training for several times, the author is very interested in physics experiments teaching mode. The mode is interesting and theoretical which makes teh author regains the confidence in physics teaching.Because of the interest in physics experimental teaching mode, the author makes an research about the teaching reform on the middle school physics teaching which has an close relation to the high school physics teaching. The author designed the research and put it into practice. The data of the research is collected naturally. According to the data, the research has been adjusted in time. After several times’adjustment and improvement, the research paper has come into being. There are six parts in this research paper. In Part One, the author talked about her experience and confusion in physics teaching. Part Two is about the content, the purpose and the methods of the research. In Part Three, based on documents, the author explained the development of laboratory and its transition of education function. Part Four has illustrated the current situation of the physics experimental course in colleges and universities in China through interview and inquire.In the Fifth Part, the author studied the teaching reform on the middle school physics teaching in the college of physical science and technology of Guangxi Normal University, and discussed its education ideas, the carry-out of the ideas, and the behaviors and change of the students. The Sixth Part is the reflection, summary and discussion of the research. |
