Objective: To Provide relevant data for improvement of sportswear, analyze thechanges of skin temperature during exercise, and explore the difference of12surfacePositions between two loads through the human upper limb and lower limb cycling.Methods:15male healthy subjects completed the cycling:40W,20W with upperlimb and160W,80W with lower limb. Detected the skin temperature of12surfacepositions in rest and during exercise and recovery through the AMI dressingcomfortably physiological test system. All the experiments were carried out in theclimate chamber of Suzhou University, National Engineering Laboratory for ModernSilk. Results were dealt between two loads and between neighboring moments. Results: The sites of skin temperature in rest from high to low are as follows:forehead, armpit, upper chest, scapula, abdomen, upper arm, forearm, hand, front thigh, back thigh, shin and calf. The skin temperature of forehead and trunk rose during upperlimb cycling under40W and had no significant change under20W. The skintemperature of armpit and upper limb rose during upper limb cycling under40W and20W. And the skin temperature of lower limb rose and then declined under40W, butdeclined under20W. During the recovery period of40W arm cycling, the skintemperature rose and then declined, while skin temperature had no significant variationunder20W. There was a significant difference in the temperature changes in magnitude. The skin temperature of forehead and armpit rose under lower limb cycling of160W,and the skin temperature of trunk, upper limb and lower limb declined and then rose. The skin temperature of forehead had no significant change under80W, and the skintemperature of armpit rose, and the skin temperature of trunk, upper limb and lowerlimb declined. There was a significant difference in the temperature changes inmagnitude in the forehead, trunk, upper limb and lower limb. During the recoveryperiod of160W lower limb cycling, the skin temperature rose and then declined, so didthe skin temperature of forehead and armpit, but the other sites’ temperature rose under 80W.There was a significant difference in the temperature changes in magnitude under160W and80W.Conclusions: Closer to the trunk the sites are, and higher the skin temperature is inrest, and further sites’ temperature is lower. The skin temperature of12sites haddifferent trends during exercise and recovery, and the change rate of big load is higherthan small load. The skin temperature of forehead, armpit, upper limb and trunk hadsignificant change during arm cycling, but the lower limb temperature had nosignificant difference. All the skin temperature had significant change during lower limbcycling.
