As is important in resource room program, mathematics has the direct bearing on academic performance and social adjustment. So it is essential to improve academic achievement of mathematics, and the instruction modes of math should be modified according to students in resource room for the purpose of teaching effectiveness. On the basis of multisensory theory and characteristics of students with ID in resource room, this study made an attempt on construction of multisensory mathematics resource teaching model and an evaluation with CIPP model, so as to make an contribution to subsequent practice and theory. The two research results are as following:1.The construction of multisensory mathematics resource teaching model includes:teaching objectives, teaching procedures, teaching principles, teaching strategies, implementation conditions, evaluation approaches and teaching cases.2. The evaluation of multisensory mathematics resource teaching model indicates:(1) The model, which makes a conformance to requirement in resource room, has proper, comprehensive and suitable teaching objectives, of which the content fits syllabus requirements.(2) The teaching procedures, which align with teaching objectives, are complete, scientific and effective.(3) The teaching principles and strategies, which align with teaching objectives, are operable and effective, but short for instructional resources.(4) Implementation conditions, which align with teaching objectives, make assurance of teaching implementation smoothly.(5) The evaluation approaches, which align with teaching objectives, are effective, but short for instructional resources.(6) The teaching process is well-prepared, complete, strategy-appropriate and active, which improves self-efficacy of the teacher and interest of the students.(7) The teaching model has a more evident immediate effect than maintenance effect which is significant compared to baseline as well.
