Enhancing civic education, and establishing the ideas of socialist democracy and rule of law, freedom and equality, fairness and justice are indispensable to China’s socialist modernization important tasks. Thus, priority should be given to the cultivation of civic consciousness of college students. Enhancing civic consciousness of college students will not only affect the development of politics, economy, culture of the entire society and the results of the reform of ideological and political education in universities, but also help improve students’qualities in all respects.
