Applying to guidance of the government on development of vocational education policy, vocational education with a goal to tainpratical and skilled personnel has been a high degree of attention and rapid development. But due to college enrollment expansion, there is a popularity of high school; most junior school students who could not pass high school enrollment examination have to choose the medium occupation school. Leading to a sharp decline in medium occupation school students’ quality, so does comprehensive quality of students. The secondary vocational health professional school is one of the most popular occupation schools because of medical. As an important lesson in secondary health occupation education foundation in culture courses, mathematics is more than mathematical symbols, formulas and conclusions for the professional course; it is related to the cultivation of students’ cultural quality and life-long learning on the basic knowledge reserve, what is a necessary education in the necessary secondary occupation. But most secondary vocational health professional school students have a poor initiative on learning mathematic. From research, student’feelings, values and other non-intellectual factors have a great impact on the students learning mathematics, factors such as emotion, attitude, and belief could be used to explain the student mathematics learning behavior. Student’s beliefs on mathematics and mathematics learning impact the student’s interest in mathematics directly and indirectly. The performance of students in the mathematics also impacts their learning motivation.There were a lot of students’mathematical beliefs researches, but the main object of study are ordinary junior and senior middle school students, not for secondary occupation students, especially study about secondary vocational health professional school students. As an integral part of national basic education, the mathematics learning of vocational school students can not only reflect the current situation of teaching mathematics about the median occupation school, but also have a reflection for the mathematics and professional class fusion occupation education. In order to improve the students’enthusiasm and initiative on mathematical learning, train the consciousness to study and use mathematics, arouse the interesting in mathematics life and occupational. Author chooses "students’mathematical beliefs" as topic and medium occupation health school with medical background ("secondary vocational school" instead) as object of investigation. According to the study of secondary vocational school students, we try to explore the status of secondary vocational school students’mathematical beliefs scientific through questionnaires, interviews and case studies, concerning the ge nder, nationality, educational level, residence, professional and scores, and expound the mathematical beliefs from the five dimensions on knowledge structure, knowledge stability, learning ability, learning style and learning speed. The findings of the research are as follows:Firstly, knowledge structure, knowledge stability, learning ability, learning style and learning speed belief level between female and male students are none significantly difference.Secondly, the stability of knowledge is apparently different between the Han nationality and minority nationalities students. The stability of knowledge of the Han nationality students is better than minorities.Thirdly, knowledge structure, knowledge stability, learning ability, learning style and learning speed between graduate of junior high school students and graduate of high school students have no significantly difference.Fourthly, knowledge structure and learning speed are apparently different between the students from town and city. Students from town are better than the students from city in knowledge structure belief and learning speed belief level.Fifthly, knowledge structure is apparently different among majors. Students from pharmaceutical marketing professional are better than others.Sixth, scores of the secondary vocational school students are notably different in the belief level of knowledge structure、knowledge stability and learning style. Top students are better than the others, and medium ones are better than underachiever students.Then, through theoretical debating and experience concluding, exploring the reasons for the differences of secondary vocational school students’ mathematical beliefs generated has been completed. Finally, some revelation is proposed to improve students’mathematical belief based on the study, there are three aspects of mutual cooperation with each other mainly from the students’self-adjustment, the improvement of teaching about teachers and the home school liaison, by which are supposed to make promote the secondary vocational school students develop positive and effective mathematical beliefs.
